Suffolk Alpaca
Connecting nature and crafting
A message from Clare (and Clement!)
What a year this has been for me so far! Covid over Christmas, breaking my ankle in January and then losing Albie, our beautiful brown cat in February. I’m writing this on 1st May with the sun shining and birds singing so I’m hoping this is a sign of better times to come.
As you will probably have noticed, I have not set up any workshops this year – my head just wasn’t in the right place, but I was still offering one-offs if a pair or small group wished to book one in. Currently I have one space on an Eco Printing workshop on Wednesday May 29th and one space on a Nuno Felting scarf workshop on Saturday July 27th . If you are interested in either of these, please email me on clare@suffolkalpaca.co.uk
I can also be found at the following shows this year – Hadleigh on Sat 18th May, St Andrews Church, Soham on Sat 6th July and at Trinity Park Ipswich on Saturday 12th October (for any of you who like to book a long way ahead!)
Being Chair of the Parish Council has proved to be much more time consuming than I realised and I do apologise that I have not been keeping you updated on Instagram or on here.
Hope to see you all again soon, Clare x

Connecting with Nature
My work is created from the softest fleece provided by our three beautiful alpacas. Norman, Fergus and Clement. Each unique piece is spun, woven or felted entirely by hand in a slow and sustainable way, creating something that brings nature itself into your home.
